It was always going to be difficult for Pakistan. Sarfraz was out after making 55, his 4th consecutive 50+ score in Tests and the tail followed. Junaid did not bat due to being advised by the doctor but he wasn't required either which meant that Pakistan lost the match by 105 runs and the series 2-0. Rangana Herath was given the Man of the Match award for his match figures of 14-184.
Yet another day of disappointment for the visitors with this tour fast becoming one that they will want to forget but to their horror, the game is not over yet! Despite some bowling heroics by the beleaguered Pakistan bowling attack which was already missing the services of Junaid Khan, the target of 271 to win and draw this series was always going to be a tough one but Herath, with 4 more wickets to add to his 9 from the 1st innings has made sure that only a miracle can now save Pakistan from a 2-0 Test series loss.
