Tax advisor by day, Pakpassion moderator by night (a bit like Batman really), I’ve had an incredible time since joining the PP team in March 2012. Having been mad about Pakistan cricket for longer than I can remember, and a member on PP for over 7 years, it seemed a natural progression to join the team and assist with the running of the site. I’ve already been fortunate enough to attend several international games in the UK on behalf of PP, mingling with media personnel in the press box and having the best seat in the house, an unforgettable experience!

As well as the day to day moderating, I’m involved with updating the homepage, tweeting, transcribing interviews, writing articles and match reports, and organising our ‘Beyond the Boundary’ weekly comment section. It can be a challenge to balance a 9-6 job with the tasks that need to be done on PP, particularly on match days, but it’s well worth the effort and not something I would dream of giving up!

PP continues to go from strength to strength and it’s sometimes hard to believe that such a small team of volunteers have managed to keep the site running so successfully for so long, and surely will continue to do so for many years to come!

Gotham Cronie

I am what you could classify as a "late-bloomer" when it comes to the sport of cricket. Growing up in the US, I didn't play cricket until the age of 23. Even still, my experience is limited to that of a weekend warrior. When it comes to Pakistan Cricket, however, I have been a passionate follower for a few years now and that has led to me increasing my knowledge of the game. I have carried that eagerness over to PakPassion and when asked to join the moderation team, I did so with no hesitation. While it is a lot of work, it is hard to look at it as such when I am enjoying what I am doing and learning at the same time. I help manage PakPassion's Facebook page while moderating the forums and other day to day tasks of the site. I have been on the team for almost a year now and if the rest of my tenure is even 1% of the ride so far, I would be glad to stay on.

King_Rizzy

Raised in the mean streets of Bradistan, King_Rizzy has done well to educate himself and gain a masters degree from university as well as work in a corporate environment. It was at university where Rizzy found his love for cricket, having never picked up a cricket bat to play proper hard ball cricket until the age of 19.

This new found love prompted lots of research into cricket, many hours spent surfing various sites/forums, until March 2012 where he arrived on to PakPassion. Rizzy saw a gap, a gap he knew had huge potential, PP Leagues. Rizzy, helped by forum staff, brought instant success to PP Leagues; PakPassion Cricket League was born.

It didn't end there though; approximately 2 months after debuting on PakPassion, he was implicated into the PakPassion team after his impressive display and organisation of the PPCL. Rizzy then took over the reins of running the PP Members Interviews on the forum.

Running the PP Leagues, having a 9-5 job, and the demands of married life aren’t easy to juggle, but Rizzy has so far managed it perfectly. PP gets stronger day in day out thanks to all the volunteering staff, whom without PP would merely just be another normal forum. Long Live PakPassion.

Watsupdoc

Born around the period in which the Pakistan cricket team won the world cup, it was only natural that Watsupdoc’s first love was cricket. This love grew even stronger, when the ‘doc’ scored his career best of 500 runs at a very young age, playing tape ball cricket against his cousin on the roof of his grandma's house in Mardan (probably helped by the fact that he started to cry whenever he was out and so his cousin let him bat). 

By the time he had become a real fanatic of Pakistan cricket. He was introduced to PakPassion. He loved PakPassion so much that he even stopped visiting cricinfo for all the cricket news! So when offered the role of a moderator on PakPassion, it was only natural that he accepted it. 

Watsupdoc’s main jobs at PakPassion include managing the twitter account, moderating the forums and other day-to-day tasks. PakPassion has grown from strength to strength and the volunteering staff has a big part to play in it.

Born in Peshawar. Have bachelors degree in Computer Science. Love cricket and have good playing and coaching skills in it. Joined PakPassion in March 2012 and fell in love with the site. Running some PP leagues with football league PPFMC the most famous one. Joined the PakPassion staff team in September 2012. Enjoys working and organising leagues in PakPassion.
