Here we were a few months ago thinking about how the PCL would showcase our local talent to the world.

Apart from the players themselves, the quality of presentation and presenters is a key factor in such events and there were high hopes on that front too.

Unfortunately, that did not happen and from what I see and hear about the effort for Super 8s, we are back to square one.

Why after 3 years of doing this tournament we are still left with substandard broadcast quality and presenters is beyond me - why doesnt the PCB hire an external consultant to address this aspect and then advise the broadcaster ?

Bad quality of commentators as well as abnormally long ad breaks in the middle of play etc are all indicative of improper planning etc - really sad to see this.
