Do you think Saaed Ajmal would have been able to replicate his current success if he did not have a Doosra,Teesra or the Straighter Delivery?
The only variations he could have would be the slider.

For me it is a difficult one, most of the wickets that are picked up by Saeed Ajmal takes are because of his off breaks in Test Cricket, but i do believe the Batsmen not being able to get out of the pitch because not knowing what to expect has something to do with it, and in ODI Cricket he does pick up wickets on Off breaks but some part of his wickets are picked up on a Doosra or the straighter one.

For me i'd say he would be fairly successful in the Test Format but i do not think so he would be able to replicate his Limited Overs success without his variations.
