A user writes the following about Mohammad Hafeez:

After 120 ODIs, he averages 27 with a SR of 69 and the worst part is, 78 of his matches have come in Asia and in Zimbabwe and Ireland which is equivalent to 65%, and he averages in the 20's there as well.

Quite a few posters suggest it would be better off if he is demoted down the order. I am not sure how that serves as a solution. A batsman with a trash track record as his cannot be trusted with any role at any position. Besides, he isn't used to it either at any level.

Besides, if he has failed to do decently at positions he has played at for over a 100 games, how can he be trusted to adjust to a completely new role?
