I have been noticing line-ups that people have been recommending that have batsmen ending at number 7. I find this to be baffling as we do not have the best line-up yet there is still an insistence of keeping our batting short. The fact of the matter is that we don't 8,9,10 and jack but rather four number 11 batsmen!

Whenever we have been successful in limited over games, we have batted deep ( 1992 WC, 1999 WC, 2009 T20 WC).

1992 WC : Ijaz Ahmed came in at no. 9
1999 WC: Wasim Akram at 9 and Azhar mahmood at 8
2009 T20 WC: We had Abdul Razzaq/ Fawad Alam at 8
