Younis Khan has done a good job for Pakistan, Jacques Kallis has been good for South Africa, Michael Clarke does the job for Australia, Cook for England and so on.
But as far as Tests are concerned I think there is no one better than Alviro Petersen - never seen him drop one and has taken some impossible catches.
Is there anyone currently better than him?
