For so long Pakistanis have abandoned the test cricket, so why do they care when they are thrown in the bottom half and not taken seriously as a test nation?

Yes I know there is no cricket in Pakistan but even before that how many people closely followed the test cricket in Pakistan? Stadiums were always empty. Cops always outnumbered the people. Even against India stadiums were always empty. Tv ratings were always low that's why PCB always found difficult to find the sponsors for test matches. Despite having such a big population PCB was never able to sell the test matches.
