What would fans think of this idea if it included guaranteed home and away series between traditional rivals every 4 years.
India: Pakistan, Bangladesh, and eventually Afghanistan
Australia: New Zealand, South Africa, and eventually Zimbabwe
England: West Indies, Sri Lanka, and eventually Ireland.
With each of the big 3 supporting cricket in rival countries, we can have eventually 12 test teams. We know India/England/aus want to play each other to make money. They should realize that plenty of money is available by also playing some rivals as well.
