No doubt Test Cricket is the real deal but lets take a look at the reality and you will see that it will surely be extinct in future maybe in the next 10 years.

01. There are more than 200 countries in the world but only 10 play it.
02. The quality of Cricket in tests is clearly diverse among the 10 test playing nations.
03. Most of the test teams apart from England and Australia are disinterested in tests.
04. Too long (5 days)
05. Even with 5 days results can still end in draws.
06. Weather interruptions (which usually spoils test matches).
07. Most test teams lose money playing Test Cricket.
08. Poor crowd levels.
09. Broadcasters aren't interested in tests.
10. Introduction and popularity of T20 has severely damaged tests and left in the wild. 
11. Old fashion (Dressed in whites, tea breaks etc) not ideal in this technological future.
12. Pitches have become flatter for test matches making games dull.
13. Same repeated series.
14. Poor tv ratings.
15. Lack of context to test series.
16. 2 test series has been placed and usually ends all square. 
17. Lack of quality test players compared to previous generations today.
18. Test Cricket is too slow.
19. Cannot even form a proper fair World Test Championship.
20. Test Cricket is unpopular throughout the world even among many test teams.
