I have great respect for Moin Khan, Zaheer Abbas and all others on the Coaching faculty that Pakistan has.
However, listening to Ramiz Raja in his comments to Saj, I am of the opinion that coaching should be less about "I scored X hundreds when I was your age" to "Beta, let me help you cope with the pressure" type style of coaching.
In this area, NONE of our present day coaches from Pakistan can hope to make an impact.
But maybe, it's not that simple.
Azhar Mahmood in an exclusive interview to us also pointed to the fact that coaches appointed for shorter tenures will always be worried about short term goals - ie they are more worried about themselves than the players!
Thus when Ramiz spoke about Pak players sitting watching the Aus v BD game anxiously and looking like school children about to be summoned to the head-master's office, one wonders why a commentator can make this observation but the Head Coach of the team cannot see this?
Or was he worried about his own future?
