I remember the days........when the Sabina Park wicket used to be a flier. Chin music to the batsmen, the crowd loudly cheering as the batsmen were ducking and diving for cover as the ball flew off a length. Wicket-keepers stood a long way back yet still taking the ball at head height. Reggae music blared around the ground as the loud thud of a ball hit the batsmen's helmet. Lots of advice from the locals to batsmen who literally shook in their boots at the crease. What an absolute tragedy for cricket that Sabina Park has become what in effect is a dust-bowl with the ball barely getting up to waist height.
