This was their first Test series win of 3 Tests or more since 1999 when they beat England.
They look like a team which is going places, improving and have a wonderful blend of youth and experience. Their batting still shows some signs of vulnerability but their bowling line-up is one that can definitely take 20 wickets against any opposition.
The likes of Southee, Boult and Williamson are the future and have been impressing and gradually improving. The future looks very bright for them in Test cricket.
