Who is/was the Muhammad Ali of Cricket?

Who is/was the Pele' of Cricket?

I'm looking to educate myself on the journey great sportsmen went through and how similar it is and how it compares to the legends of Cricket.

For example Pele' started playing football because he saw his father cry when brazil lost the worldcup, he told his father, 'stop crying, i'll win you one worldcup' this was when he was 5-6 and later went on to win 3 worldcups for his country.

Is there a cricketer with a similar story?
