Excellent performance from Zalmi who kept their nerve in a thrilling game, taking them to the top of the table, while Karachi join Lahore at the bottom of the table. It must be a shock as both these teams were expected to perform better. Hafeez batted beautifully while Amir bowled well for the first innings, Karachi collapsed woefully chasing with Asghar and Tait bowling very economical spells. With the game looking dead Bopara gave a vintage exhibition of stunning hitting and took Tait to the cleaners with some magnificent hitting, 26 runs off that over changed the game and left Kings needing 22 off the final two overs and then 13 off the final over. However his wicket proved costly and Karachi were defeated by 3 runs in the end. A fantastic advert for PSL. The crowd, again for the second day in a row, was fantastic unlike Dubai. The table shaping up nicely and looks to be a tight race for all teams concerned!
