Peshawar Zalmi: Mohammad Hafeez, Tamim Iqbal, Dawid Malan, Kamran Akmal, Shahid Yousuf, Shahid Afridi, Darren Sammy, Wahab Riaz, Junaid Khan, Mohammad Asghar, Shaun Tait

Lahore Innings : Azhar Ali and Chris Gayle opened the innings for Lahore Qalandar - Chris Gayle got out on the first ball he faced - goes without saying that it was a bad decision from the umpire. This brought in Cameron Delport who batted very well to pick the run-rate up for his team and he ended up scoring a fifty with a very healthy strike-rate, his third one of the tournament. He was well supported by his partner Umar Akmal who scored a fifty with a very blistering rate to ensure that Lahore Qalandars reached a good score, although with so many wickets left they will be disappointed they did not get more.

Peshawar Innings : Zalmi started very aggressively, with a run rate of almost 9 till the dismissals of Hafeez and Tamim took the wind out of their sails. Akmal and Malan calmed things down, however, and Zalmi reached 78-2 after ten overs. However it was the Delport show, he got the big one of Akmal and then the big man Afridi's wicket. Zalmi started stuttering, despite Yousuf's hitting and Malan's explosiveness the game got very tight. Cooper bowled very well and with hopes resting on Malan he could not finish the game off, he was caught off Cooper's bowling and leaving Zalmi reeling and needing 18 off 10 and then 16 off the final over, with Cooper's superb yorkers being the highlight. With 14 off 3 and Zalmi looking down and out, Wahab launched a massive six and left Lahore fans biting their nails. However it was not to be as Lahore kept their nerve and won by four runs! What an advert for the PSL and what a must win by Lahore!

Match Summary : What a game! Zalmi, already qualified, fought very hard however Lahore were fighting for their lives and their qualification in this PSL and fight they did! The table looks very close now, Quetta leading it by 2 points and along with Zalmi already have qualified. Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore are now all level at 4 points. What an amazing set of matches coming up as these three teams will fight tooth and nail to make sure they don't end up at the bottom of the table!
