Islamabad Innings: Wow is the word that comes to mind. It was a one man show courtesy of the maginficent Sharjeel Khan century. He dominated the bowlers with stunning ease, out of 23 boundaries only three were not from Sharjeel. He carted every bowler around, and its bizarre we do not have him in the squad for Pakistan, his performance makes Manzoor's selection even more strange. United got to a very good 176/3, however it could and should have been more had it not been for Smith's disastrous innings. He was out of sorts and only managed 19 off 37 balls. You can sense Islamabad peaking at the right time and they will back themselves to win here.

FOW:

1-108 (Dwayne Smith , 13.1 overs)
2-108 (Haddin , 13.2 overs)
3-171 (S Khan , 19.4 overs)

Peshawar Innings:
Zalmi needed a Sharjeel innings and for a moment it looked like Kamran would do it for them but it was not to be. The pacers bowled tight and Khalid ripped the middle order apart, taking the big scalps of Sammy and Hodge. Hafeez was poor again and could not get into a rhythm. Afridi tried but did not succeed and batting wise he has had a very poor PSL, which does not bode well for Pakistan. In the end he was stranded on one end while wickets fell and Zalmi let the average go up to 15, which meant the game was over for them by the 16th over. They surrendered meekly at 126, despite some late hitting by Afridi.

FOW:

1-24 (D Malan , 3.5 overs)
2-59 (M Hafeez , 8.5 overs)
3-66 (K Akmal , 10.2 overs)
4-75 (Hodge , 12.2 overs)
5-80 (Sammy , 12.5 overs)
6-100 (S Yousuf , 14.4 overs)
7-101 (Riaz , 15.2 overs)
8-105 (Hasan Ali , 16.3 overs)
9-126 (Afridi , 17.4 overs)
10-126 (M Asghar , 17.6 overs)

Match Summary: What a turnaround from United, ravaged by injuries and were poor at the start but boy have they bounced back! Superb from Misbah's team, they have been dogged and hard to beat and if Sharjeel fires they can win the entire thing. For Zalmi it has been what could have been, they have been the best side along with Quetta and will be hugely disappointed they did not win when it counted the most.
