Superlative bowling by Mohammad Amir (3 wickets) and some excellent batting by Shoaib Malik (63) and Umar Akmal (50) gives Pakistan their first victory.

Well that was tough!
Mohammad Amir's brilliant spell of 4 overs for 6 runs where he picked up 2 wickets seemed to have closed the deal but 3 quick wickets by UAE's Amjad Javed seemed to have shut doors for Pakistan.
Umar Akmal and Shoaib Malik then combined with a brilliant 114 run partnership to seal the deal. Tough day for Pakistan but one hopes some lessons have been learnt today.
