H is for...Hashim

Yes Hashim Amla, the world's number 1 ranked ODI batsman will be a big attraction in England, and not just for South African fans. He has impressed one and all with his calm nature and fantastic attitude on the field, and when you combine that with a batting average of 57 and a strike rate of 91, you see he really is the complete package.

Could be vital for South Africa's chances of glory in the tournament in the absence of Graeme Smith, and Pakistan will need to get him out early when the two sides meet on June 10th at Edgbaston.

I'm probably not alone in wishing him all the best for the tournament.

And as always, Pakpassion's timing is impeccable, as we have just done an interview with Hashim himself:  http://www.pakpassion.net/ppforum/sh...d.php?t=178013
