S is for...Swann
The man of the hour (if you are an England supporter): Swann.
Given his recent annihilation of the NZ lineup, one would expect Swann to be a Lion on his home turf(s) and one feels that he is not likely to disappoint us.
His ODI stats, similar to his stats make for some interesting reading as he has 101 ODI wickets from 76 matches at an average of 27.16 – He may be rated 17th in the world ranking but make no mistake that come June, he will be at the forefront of England’s already very string bowling attack.
The real question for spin addicts is whether he will be able to outshine the likes of Ajmal or Narine but given his record at home, it would surprise no one of if he tops the charts in Champions Trophy.
The other S - incase I get accused of senile dementia - would be Steyn but enough will be written about him soon!
