Pakistan Innings
Nasir Jamshed and Ahmed Shehzad opened the score for Pakistan but the opening pair was quickly broken up when Jason Holder bowled Shehzad for the early breakthrough. Mohammad Hafeez never looked comfortable with the weather and Holder struck again. Holder didn't stop there as he proceeded to take Jamshed and then Shafiq's wicket. After a rain delay, Misbah and Umar attempted to rebuild the innings and guided Pakistan to a total of 47 runs after 20 overs. Umar eventually succumbed to the pressure and played a poor stroke and departed after scoring 19 runs.
This brought in Afridi who along with Misbah brought Pakistan back with a 120 run partnership. Afridi eventually fell in the powerplay overs leaving Misbah and the tail to scrap for a respectable total. Misbah scored his 26th ODI half-century in the process before edging out to the keeper. The rest of the tail contributed crucial runs and proceeded to push Pakistan to a respectable total of 220.

West Indies Innings
Chris Gayle and Johnson Charles' partnership didn't last long mostly because of Mohammad Irfan wonderful bowling. Irfan made his impact felt by dismissing Charles for a golden duck. He didn't stop there as he then proceeded to claim Darren Bravo's wicket as well. Chris Gayle was next to follow when a miscommunication between him and Marlon Samuels led to his run-out on a wonderful throw by Misbah. Simmons, the next man in, joined Samuels for a gritty 34 run partnership before getting stumped. The captain Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard, and Simmons didn't last long either and all became victims to Afridi's bowling.
Afridi didn't stop there as he ran through the tail and got his 7th wicket.

Match Summary:
Pakistan defeated the West Indies convincingly but there is room for improvement on their part. The top order for the fifth consecutive game looked fragile and there are questions regarding Mohammad Hafeez's batting. The bowling unit, on the other hand, was spectacular and an in-form Afridi certainly adds another dimension to this attack. Afridi is now in third position, tied with Brett Lee, for most 5-wicket hauls in ODIs. It was also the third time that Afridi has scored a 50 and taken 5 wickets.
West Indies bowling attack looked formidable to start the game and Jason Holder appears to be a fantastic prospect. Chris Gayle's form however is a concern and adjustments will have to be made on handling this Pakistani spin attack.
