In response to Pakistan's 320, United Arab Emirates did not start that well, Muhammad Azam dismissed early for 17 to Zulfiqar Babar. In came Saqib Ali who scored 19 runs but then was caught by Younis Khan off Muhammad Irfan's bowling. UAE were 80/2 at this stage as Captain Khurram Khan and opener Shaiman Anwer stood at the crease.

Shaiman looked solid but, Khurram Khan lost his cool and was stumped off Saeed Ajmal for 24. Swapnil Patel was the new batsman but was dismissed soon by Junaid Khan. UAE were 138/4 as Rohan Mustafa came to the crease and played a fighting innings for his 24 before getting out. Since then, UAE didn't seem to recover.

Shaiman top scored for UAE, he made 86 as they were all out for 190. There were 3 wickets each for Babar and Irfan, 1 wicket each for Junaid, Ajmal, Abdur Rehman and Rahat Ali.

The 1st Test match between Pakistan and South Africa starts on the 14th of October at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
