Well what a day it was today. I went to Nottingham to meet the Aussie team at a training session they were holding near Trent Bridge. I got there about 11.00 shortly after the session started on a beautiful day which must have reminded the Aussies of back home.

The mullet. What was it about that particular haircut? It seems the eighties was the golden age of this annoying style. From Glen Hoddle to Chris Waddle in football and from Imran Khan to Abdul Qadir, the mullet reigned supreme. I still remember watching Qadir bowl with his long hair and twirling arms.

Not too long to go before the much anticipated Twenty/20 World Cup commences in England.
