PTV captain Amad Butt’s five-wicket haul has brought his team tantalizingly close to victory against SBP as the third day of the President’s Trophy Grade-I final concluded at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Thursday. PTV captain Amad Butt’s five-wicket haul has brought his team tantalizingly close to victory against SBP as the third day of the President’s Trophy Grade-I final concluded at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Thursday. At the close of play, PTV stood at 69 for one after 13 overs, needing just 84 more runs to secure the win.

Earlier in the day, SBP, who began their second innings at an overnight score of 37 for one, were dismissed for 264 in 76.2 overs. Rameez Aziz led the batting effort for his team, scoring a top score of 47 off 97 balls, including four boundaries, while Saud Shakeel added 45 runs off 82 deliveries, striking six fours.

For PTV, right-arm pacer Amad Butt shone with the ball, finishing with impressive figures of five for 84 in 27 overs. Ali Usman and Mohammad Ibtisam supported him, claiming two wickets apiece.
