(Yorkshire) Speaking exclusively to PakPassion.net, Rana Naved ul Hasan expressed his delight at being recalled to the Pakistan one day squad.

"Yes I'm back playing for my country and its a great feeling" stated the fast medium bowler who has represented Pakistan in 9 test matches and 62 one day internationals.

"I got the call today from the PCB and I was delighted to hear the good news".

Rana's recall to the Pakistan squad comes after a gap of over 2 years having last played for his country in a one day international versus West Indies in Jamaica, where he took 0 for 49 and scored 11 runs as Pakistan were beaten by 54 runs. His decision to play in the ICL meant that he along with a number of Pakistanis were excluded from national selection.

Rana added "I'll be leaving for Lahore tomorrow with my family and then leaving for Colombo on 24th July from Lahore". "I will be as always giving my 100% effort and hope that I can justify my recall to the international team".
