Talha talks about the knee niggle which kept him out of the 2dn four day game during the A tour of Australia. He adds that he's confident of performing well during the upcoming A tour of Sri Lanka

by Abdul Habib

Speaking exclusively to PakPassion.Net; Mohammad Talha promised that he was fully focused for the Pakistan A tour of Sri Lanka and that he would let his bowling do the talking for him. When discussing his plans for the tour, Talha said that he'd noticed that the Sri Lankan pitches were helping fast bowlers and that he was looking to exploit this.

He's hopeful that some solid performances on the A tour will help him get noticed by the national selectors when they're putting together a squad for the Champions Trophy.

When I asked him about his stop start action and the work he's done with Aamir Sohail, Talha assured me that he no longer stops before delivering the ball. He also mentioned that he used to lean back when delivering the ball and that he's also worked hard to change that because it used to mean he would lose momentum when delivering the ball.

Responding to questions about his low par performances on the A tour to Australia, Talha said that he'd had a niggle with his knee which meant that he also sat out the 2nd four day game. However he says that he's now fully fit and can't wait to start bowling.
