Speaking earlier to PakPassion.net Anwar Ali spoke of the difficulty in deciding to either continue his season at Colne in the Lancashire League or to return to Pakistan for the Under 23 training camp due to be held in Karachi from 10th August to 29th August.

Anwar has been a huge success with both bat and ball in the Lancashire League despite arriving in the UK late due to Visa issues. "The season has been very good so far" said Anwar "and I am not sure what to do regarding the Under 23 training camp".

Anwar added "If I leave for Pakistan, it will mean letting down the club that have waited patiently for my arrival and if I dont go, it means missing out on the opportunity to impress the coaches and selectors back in Pakistan who will no doubt be present for the training camp". "I'll speak to the PCB and try and sort out some sort of compromise".

The training camp is an "unusual" one considering that the Champions Trophy preliminary squad of 30 has already been chosen and that the Pakistan "A" team are currently in Sri Lanka.
