Speaking exclusively to PakPassion.net, former Pakistan team manager Yawar Saeed denied that there were any untoward incidents during the Twenty/20 World Cup earlier this year in England.

"I can categorically state that there were no confrontations or untoward incidents between any Pakistani players in England during the Twenty/20 World Cup" stated the now retired Yawar.

Yawar who said he was enjoying his time away from cricket adminstration further added "If there had been any incident, then I would have been the first to know about it. There were no such problems between any of the players".

Responding to a question about an alleged incident between Younus Khan and one of the other players on the team bus during the Twenty/20 World Cup where Younus allegedly shouted down the team mate, Yawar stated "there was absolutely no such incident on the team bus".

Yawar who said that he hadn't totally forgotten about the game of cricket and was still watching the great game at every opportunity on the television further continued "It's good to see Younus Khan make himself available for the Pakistan team once again. I hope he plays for HBL in the Quaid E Azam trophy final and then for Pakistan once again".

Responding to a question about whether Younus should be reappointed as captain or whether the selectors should persist with Yousuf, Yawar stated "That is a decision that the current selectors need to make and thankfully not myself. Its a tough one and I'll leave it to the men who are now responsible for such decisions".
