Sources close to Younus Khan confirmed to www.pakpassion.net that there had been no recent communication between current Pakistan captain Mohammad Yousuf and former captain Younus Khan.

There have been some reports in the press recently that Mohammad Yousuf had allegedly called Younus Khan up from Australia to discuss Younus' return to the team and to enquire about Younus' availability for the remainder of the tour of Australia.

However the source confirmed to PakPassion that "there had been no such conversation between Yousuf and Younus". "The reports in the press were false and baseless". "The story is totally incorrect and I don't understand why the story was printed because no discussions have taken place between the two of them".

Younus has just recently returned to action after a break from all cricket and is currently representing Habib Bank in the Quaid E Azam Trophy final against Karachi Blues, whilst his former team mates prepare for the Boxing Day test at the MCG.
