Teams would kill for a batsman this consistent. Way more consistent than overrated Kohli and others touted as the best in the world. Is he the next Gilchrist?

With some of the top bowlers recovering from injury, we will have a remodelled Aussie pace attack facing Pakistan in UAE - how will they fair againt Pakistan?

This young man is not the pace bowling connoisseur's favourite. He's not the sort of bowler who will frighten too many batsmen with his pace. At best he's medium fast.

However he's a young man with a lot of talent, ability and seems to have a good head on his shoulders.

His approach is excellent, he's improving his all round game and in helpful conditions his bowling could be a real challenge to all batsmen.

He looks like an excellent find for India.

I was surprised to see that only BD bowling unit did worse than Pakistan in their home conditions in the last 10 years. Here are the details of the last 10 years for each bowling unit in their home conditions.

Last 10 years with UAE included for Pakistan still keeps it only better than BD.

In short - among non-minnows, Pakistani bowlers were easiest to score runs against in their home conditions in the last 10 years. Everyone knows that Pakistani bowing unit doesn't have great bowlers of 90s but doesn't it look odd to see only BD doing worse than Pakistan.

What makes it Pakistani bowling unit so bad in their home conditions in this period? Your thoughts?

AB has reached the milestone of 17 ODI centuries in 162 ODIs whilst Kallis has the same number of ODI centuries in 328 ODIs.

What a machine this de Villiers is.

All types of surface....against all types of bowling.......and against all opposition.

When he's in the mood, there is no stopping him.

Was it the right decision for India to drop Ashwin from the first Test Match vs England and select Binny instead?

What score do you think England would think about chasing in the test if India somehow get All Out ? What would be the score after which England would shut their shop and think about a draw?
