Both trundle, both can bat a bit and both a tiny bit overweight.

Imagine selecting them for bowling in Tests in South Africa and England respectively. Who was the more terrible choice?.

He'd be a net bowler at the NCA, fetching the ball for the batsmen and occasionally getting a chance to bowl

Feel free to add the missing words.

Looking terrible at the moment, but he has pledged to play for South African LoI side until the end of the World Cup next year - but in a batting role only.

His scores in the current series against Lanka are 0, 1 and 4. His average this year in ODIs is 1.66 as a result, it was 19.00 last year (2013) and 31.50 the year before (2012).

In addition, I think players with a batting style like him are passe in ODIs. The 2011 50-over World Cup saw a few of those still around (Tendulkar, Ponting, Graeme Smith, etc.) but now the role calls for a little more biffing a la Maxwell or de Villiers or Kohli.

Best of luck to him, but it's not looking good.

Why is Sadaf Hussain being continuously ignored by the selectors?

The title says it all. Cook needs to go. He is in really bad form. I see Broad as a perfect replacement. Always play responsibly. Bowls well. Heck even bats well. What do you guys think?

First we had Vaughan and his totally unnecessary comment about Sri Lanka and its bowling attack being akin to a second rate one and then we had Nasser Hussain about the pitch being diabolical and sub-continental.

I am guessing all above are now busy eating their words in copious amounts....

What came as a surprise from the recent squad selection for the test series is that Umar Akmal has been called after 3 years while Mohammad Hafeez has finally been dropped from the test side.

I have two question for you guys...

After 3 years, do you think that Umar Akmal deserves to be given a place in the test squad. Is he capable of playing test

Was the decision to drop Hafeez a right decision or poor, as you need to consider the fact that his replacement is no other then Umar Akmal.

please DO NOT add names of players that you think should had been in their place.
