Shoaib Malik in his recent interview said that PCB should allow more contracted players to play in tournaments around the world and I totally agree with Shoaib on this, I think more players should be allowed and encouraged to participate in tournaments around the world. Recently Junaid Khan had a chance to sign up with Lancashire but he was only allowed to play T20s, which doesn't really make sense, playing 4 day cricket in England would have been far more beneficial for him than T20 cricket.
What do you guys think?
He may have averaged under 40 and not overall earned a place amongst the all-time greats but on his day Majid could be clubbed with batsmen of the stature of Greg Chappell or Viv Richards. In full flow he saw the ball like a football and his reflexes were razor sharp. The best attacks were pulverized like a tiger tearing it's prey but with the silken touch of a weaver. Thus artistry and power was superbly blended. Majid above all mastered bad wickets.Overall against pure pace I rate Majid Khan the best of all Pakistani batsmen.
Do you feel that the anti-corruption code changes that are due to be implemented are right?
Mixed emotions I guess for many regarding the possibility that Mohammad Amir could be allowed to play cricket ahead of his five year ban for spot fixing.
Some would argue that a five year ban should mean a five year ban and nothing less and that there should be absolutely no leniency. Others say that Amir was a victim in all the spot fixing mess and was hard done by and deserves some leniency in terms of the length of his ban.
The anti-corruption code is set to be amended to allow banned cricketers the chance to play some club cricket and domestic cricket before the ban is over.
What are your thoughts on the amendment to the anti-corruption code?
Is it right that Amir and others who were banned for five years are allowed to play cricket ahead of their ban?
