Following England´s loss to Sri Lanka in Ian Bell´s 100th Test match, I was just wondering on the number of players in the recent months who as well didn´t quite get much of a chance to celebrate the landmark.

Going through the list from the last two years, except for Graeme Smith, Michael Clarke and Harbhajan Singh, below is the list of the players who had to suffer a defeat in their 100th Test match.....

Andrew Strauss, Virender Sehwag, Kevin Pietersen, Alastair Cook, Chris Gayle and Ian Bell.

All of these matches have provided a result though.

Misbah is 40 now and is on his last legs, it's shocking to see no one other than Amin has even considered by the PCB yet as a replacement. You'd think looking for a new Test captain and grooming him would be high up on the PCB's priorities but it seem's they may be a bit preoccupied with more important things at the moment *cough* So, who do you think should be groomed?

Graeme Swann will be England's new spin guru. In recent times, the England and Wales Cricket Board has summoned the services of ex-players to coach youngsters and be part of the cricket management teams. After former left-arm spinner Ashley Giles, Swann is the latest 'recruit.'

The 35-year-old Swann will train young England spinners. Swann had stunned the world when he retired midway through the Ashes tour. Regarded as a top class off-spinner, Swann took 255 wickets in 60 Tests.

Can he help England to produce quality spinners?

I see Usman Khawaja, Phil Jacques, Amla, Alviro all playing county cricket and even Jack Rudolph made comeback to int'l team after some good performance in the county cricket..

Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq, Shehzad, Umar Akmal, Maqsood, Jamshed all should play county, when not on national duty would make them better day-by-day, and they are still young

Both matches went down to the wire and possibility of winning or drawing was there for both teams till the final ball was bowled.

I don't get why this stain in Mathews captaincy surfaced in the first place when you have players such as Mahela and Sanga available. Both of these men have 260 tests between them. Surely, their pool of wisdom could have helped just like it did when Malinga wasn't the only one directing troops around in the field in the World Cup.

Deserving of the spot or not?

A young captain winning the man of the series, along with the series abroad, bowlers and most batsmen performing. What can the Pakistan Test team learn from them?

Should PCB push for a reduction in Mohammad Amir's Ban at the ICC meeting?

Should Alastair Cook quit captaincy or wait for Indian series and consider his role after that?
