Obviously quite a few have a negative view of Mohammad Amir, but the fact is he will be back in the next 15-20 months. What do you think Amir should do to repair his public image, if you think it's still repairable.

Taskin Ahmed bowled beautifully in his debut match but got overshadowed by Binny. I am impressed and would like to follow his performances in the future.

Naveed Arif and Ashraful found guilty and punished, Kaneria thrown out of the game - all signs to me that something right is being done!

Many of us will look at this as "too little, too late" but the fact is that this is progress.

Question says it all. The Cricket team has always been poor overall but why? because with all those years, support and funding yet the team has not become competitive (good).

Is it because of corrupt administration?
Lack of knowledge in game?
Laziness and Unprofessionalism?
Talent?
What?

I have been thinking about this question for a while with regard to batsmen who are very defensive in their approach to the Test match. It was more prevalent in the 90's, and early 2000s that a lot of defensive players were looked down upon.

In a Test match scenario, does it hurt your team if you play defensively and score 20 off say 100 balls?

Of all the world's pace bowlers at the moment I have to say that Trent Boult is one of my favourite bowlers and a bowler who I really enjoy watching.

His ability to bowl with pace and seam and swing the ball makes him such a dangerous opponent. He seems to have great control and also has a great Yorker.

I watched his spell yesterday against the West Indies and he made Chris Gayle look like a novice. He was beating him for pace, beating him on the outside edge and inside edge before eventually dismissing him with a superb Yorker.

I think of all the pace bowlers in the world Boult is one that has a lot of potential and has the world at his feet.

Do you agree?
