Has a decent technique, competent head and is able to read the situation well as a batsman.

As a bowler he is accurate won't leak runs and can be a wicket taking option on turning wicket.

It doesn't matter what team you support but watching young men from 2 nations putting so much emotion as they listen to the National anthems of their countries is simply awesome!

If only cricket was always played with such national pride at all levels.

It's true to popular opinion. All that know SL know the heartbreak and sin they cause to their own kin. Let me look at the prime examples of losing a final: 2007 World Cup, 2009 T20 World Cup, 2011 World Cup and the 2012 T20 World Cup. These competitions are on a global level. It's given nothing but a black and dirtied reputation, a dent in confidence the size of the number of ducks that Afridi and Jayasuriya have collected to the Lankan fans. This is also not helped by the fact that same engine that got us into the finals, also didn't manage to make a difference. To hammer another nail into the coffin, 6 veterans in Herath, Kulasekera, Sangakarra, Mathews, Dilshan and Jayawardene will retire after the 2015 World Cup. However, this can be a beacon of light as the same players might no be hear to continue that trend.

Well to be honest i was not that excited, but since started and the close match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka and then a good fight by Bangladesh and Afghanistan, i am quite exited to see how it goes for the rest of the tournament, and obviously the big match on sunday!
