Now that the little master has gracefully left the scene, his total number of test runs and test 100s is still under threat by the big master Kallis. I still think Kallis is good enough to play for another 3-4 years in tests and from now Kallis has got the likes of India coming up and next year Zimbabwe and following year Bangladesh. Looks to me Kallis with the average he currently holds and determined as ever is likely to break Sachin 2 major test records.
How will Indian fans feel and view to that?
Three years ago today, middle-order batsman, Asad Shafiq made his Test debut for Pakistan against South Africa in Abu Dhabi.
Abdul Razzaq and Shoaib Malik are returning home and will miss the T20I's against SA after being ruled out with injuries. Can Pakistan recover with two early setbacks?
Why do our fans expect players to perform every game? Is the weight of expectation destroying his career?
His current List A average is 45+ with a Strike Rate of 78 he scored 3700+ runs in 87 innings including 9 centuries and 22 fifties with a highest unbeaten score of 163* and most of his high scores in LA are with high SR.
Now with Malik & Razzaq possibly dropped from squad (and a single squad for SA)... there is a chance that Misbah will be making a T20 comeback...
Will it happen or not.. time will tell !!
I will be rooting for Aussies this time around, cheered ENG in Ashes till 2011. This time i want AUS to challenge and win if possible ...
