We're a little over 9 days away from when Pakistan face Scotland on May 17th at Edinburgh.
That match will be followed by a 2nd ODI vs. the same opponents on May 19th before going up against Ireland on May 23rd and May 26th.
If you were team management, how would you approach these 4 ODIs? Should they be used to experiment with the playing XI and the lineup?
Wanted to make a thread about our probable captain after Misbah. The Professor and what his role is.
After watching Hafeez's second coming into international cricket i think he may be one of the problems in our batting line up. Why?
1. Against very good bowling he often struggles i dont think he has the Test or ODI technique against the swinging ball.
2. He doesnt seem to have the big hunger in odi cricket to score 150+
"240-250 will be a winning score for Pakistan in the Champions Trophy" - Ijaz Ahmed. Do you agree?
Both left arm seam bowler plays for India and Pakistan respectively.
Mohammad Irfan :Tallest cricketer ever, hits the deck hard and extract bounce. He will be extremely handy in English conditions. However, he is still unable to impress me with his fitness. Only once he could complete 10 overs in his short career. But as a strike bowler, he will surely feature in Pakistan playing XI in all the games.
Irfan Pathan - Old pro who is making a comeback post injury. His selection raised eyebrow from the cricket fans. Swing bowler..so should be handly in English conditions. He is one of the most experienced players in the Indian squad. A very decent batsman and will play in the side as a genuine all rounder. However chances of him making into playing XI is bleak.
Which Irfan you think will be more successful in the Champions Trophy?
