Having already lost the series, Pakistan played to salvage some pride in the 5th ODI against South Africa in Cape Town. As it turned out, this was the closest match of the series. 

Waqar Younis bowled well and picked up four wickets, giving away just 41 runs. However, his performance was overshadowed by some excellent batting from Dippenaar's 93 and Jonty Rhodes' 81 which got South Africa to 265.
 

A truly wonderful entertainer. A batsman who can tear apart any bowling attack in the world, if he's "in the mood". A batsman who thoroughly likes to dominate opposition attacks and a batsman who has the ability and confidence to play shots all around the park.

However having said the above, is his approach to his batting selfish? Is he really batting "for the team" or for himself?

Personally never watched him live but thanks to youtube, it has to be Waqar Younis that long intimidating run up and the lunge at the batsman must have been scary knowing that he is aiming for your toes!.

Australia have already won the first 3 Tests of this Ashes and most of us already saw how they destroyed England team in these 3 Tests but this stat will give you an idea about the damage done:

After 3 Tests Australian bowlers combined Average is 22.45 with Economy 2.72 and Strike Rate 49.5. Now look at English bowlers combined Average of 49.97 with Economy 3.62 and Strike Rate 82.6

The difference in average is 27.52, Difference in economy is 0.90 and difference in Strike Rate is 33.1
