Congratulations to the winner of this week's "Post of the Week" award winner - Indiafan - for his satire in the "Faf du Plesis and his match-winning Zipper" thread!
On this day, Hanif Mohammad played his last ever Test match for Pakistan. Interestingly enough, it was the same match in which his younger brother Sadiq Mohammad made his debut.
Sort of like how bonus points are set in English domestic four day games. If a good rule set is devised that gives bonus points for certain achievements do you think it could make a series more interesting?
If given a choice, would you put change of coaches as the foremost priority or do you think change in selection committee is more needed right now?
So bowling skill-wise who was better in UAE, Steyn or Anderson?
(A shame that in last test the whole 'cheating' scandal popped but) I think we all can agree that James Anderson is the best when it comes to reverse-swing
Imo, overall James Anderson was better than Steyn.
Asad Shafiq scored 2 Centuries and 3 Fifties against South Africa in 10 innings. He scored 2 centuries and and 2 fifties against SA this year and 1 in his debut match. His highest score is also against SA.
How disappointing is to see the series being shared between Pakistan and South Africa, and how good would it have been if there'd been a 3rd Test.?
