The PCB and the selectors have rightly stuck with Misbah as the leader in Test cricket - but surely now is the time to name a vice-captain that will take over from him in the future. Hafeez's lack of form is making him a difficult option, even though ideally it would be him with his experience from skippering the T20I side.

Eleven years ago today, playing the second Test against Australia in Sharjah, Pakistan lost the match in two days after being dismissed for 59 in the first innings and 53 in the second innings.
It was only the eighth time that an individual batsmen had scored more runs than the opposition's both innings combined. Matthew Hayden scored 119 runs vs Pakistan's 112 for that match.
A very interesting analysis backed up by stats of the batsmen who had the highest averages and atleast 5 Test centuries at the age of 22. The legend Sachin Tendulkar comes up on top of the list with 2483 runs and 8 hundreds, followed by Javed Miandad who had 2433 with 7 hundreds but a much better average.
Today marks six years since the day Inzamam retired from Test cricket. Playing at the same ground where he made his International debut, Inzamam required only 20 runs in this Test to surpass Javed Miandad's record and become Pakistan's leading Test run scorer. As luck would have it, Inzamam would fall 3 runs short, stumped out off the bowling of Paul Harris.
In the upcoming series against South Africa in UAE , the bowlers will play a key role specially the spinners. Last time against England Saeed Ajmal emerged as the highest wicket taker. Will he be the highest wicket taker this time too or will it be some one else like Abdur Rehman, Junaid Khan , Mohammad Irfan, Rahat Ali or Zulfiqar Babar. You can also vote via our poll.
