I find it very strange that Umar Amin had already been selected for the 12 man squad (i.e. initial before 15 finalised) ahead of Asad Shafiq, Umar Akmal, and Fawad Alam. He averages 12, 22, and 23 in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is respectively. His domestic stats aren't incredible, but let's forget that. He hasn't done anything on international worth to merit a place in the side. He has been picked because his 'technique looks good'.
So now the squad of 15 is announced and we got now we got 8 bats and a wk bat in the squad.
Here is the list of batsmen in the squad:
Ahmad Shahzad
Shan Masood
Khurram Manzoor
Azhar Ali
Younis Khan
Misbah ul Haq
Asad Shafiq
Umar Amin
Adnan Akmal
So predict the highest run scorer?
On this day back in 2008, much-hyped pacer from Karachi Sohail Khan made his T20I debut in Pakistan's 35-run victory over Canada.
Unfortunately, he only bowled one over, failing to take a wicket in it as skipper Shoaib Malik opted to trust defending 138 with his senior bowlers.
3 day match - with 1000over declaration. So therefore, the team that bats first will get 2 bats and the team that bats second will get one unless their bowl out the other side quick enough.
Can a Pakistani batsman like Maqsood who is a middle order batsman evolve into a world class opener?
