I have seen him play a couple of times and I am really impressed with his technique, he plays with a straight bat.
He has not a very good record, but he is 22 and can improve and after watching him I can understand why Misbah rates him highly. He also kept Umar Akmal out of the SUI team?
Let's nail this myth that Misbah is the best batsman in Pakistan
In the last Domestic First Class season he was about 50th in terms of run scored and 50th in terms of Average

The DPL has been a great source of income for domestic Pakistani players over the past 2 decades. After the BPL fiasco, i am sure that Pakistanis will not to be selected, which will be a major dissappointment for the players. First, no international cricket in pakistan, then Pakistan players arent considered for IPL, they are forbidden to take part in BPL and later on PSL never really took place.
Now our domestic structure is going through major structure changes but before there were only departments to back our domestic cricket and support domestic cricketers financially by giving them jobs, these departments produced great results for cricket in Pakistan. So which department you think made the most contribution?
To name a few:
PIA: Imran Khan, Zaheer Abbas, Wasim Akram, Saqlain Mushtaq, Mohammad Yousaf
UBL: Waqar Younis, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Saeed Anwar, Sarfraz Nawaz, Mushtaq Ahmed
HBL: Javed Miandad, Abdul Qadir, Saleem Malik, Ijaz Ahmed, Younis Khan
After Pakistan whitewashed the visiting Bangladeshis 3-0 in the Test series, they continued their domination in the first three ODI matches of the five-match series. It was in the 4th ODI, however, that Pakistan were made to sweat just a little bit before sealing a thriller.
Is the South Africa cricket team the real 'chokers' in international cricket? Or is that a myth?
