here is no doubt he has dropped an insane amount of catches but he also racked up a solid amount of dismissals and scored some big runs.
In spite of his low average, he has produced sensational innings in all formats and is subject to two of the arguably best Test knocks by a Pakistani WK.
We haven't had many decent WK batsmen and Kamran is clearly the most prominent one.
In spite of what the numbers say, there have been few better openers to play for us in the last 10 years. His offside play is terrific and he can take on any bowler.
Also seems to do well with the bat under pressure. His recent performances generally have been very poor but he's still my choice to open the innings in ODIs.
He never lived up to his initial potential but in my opinion, a firing Kamran is an asset and a top player who should be remembered in a positive light.
Their seamers Bhuvi and Shami swung ball miles on the pitch where both arguably strongest bowling lineups had struggled just hours ago. You just can't hit out with ball going both ways at length. Mishra and Ashwin are just quality with their variations and containment. Add to that Jadeja who skips through his overs before you even know it. Our 130 probably was more of an effect of better bowling than just crap batting effort as we were purporting. They stick to their plans and roles, dont experiment too much and having seen performance of Aus, SA, PAK, NZ - I think Indians have the best overall bowling unit in this tourney!

He averages 18 at a Strike Rate of 145, this is not 50 overs Cricket so it really does not matter what position you bat him at because Afridi will be Afridi! So question is why is not being used at start of the innings?

For surfe Hammad is good enough Batman at 7 or 8
Only questions are:
A. If he is better Bowler than Bhatti?
B. If he is good enough as 3rd Seamer Bowler? Or should we go for any other Choice than Both of them ?
C. Is Hammad able to swing the new ball? Could he be our new ball Bowler? Or is he amiddle Order Bowler? Or is he a Death Ockers Bowler?
Ithink Hammad will have more success in ODIs äs compared to T20s. but if he Could swing the new ball and is in mould of Bhuvi, then still it. will be positive for Pakistan.
