Most of you have seen Waqar Test bowling stats at his peak but here i am going to share with you his bowling stats in one season of county cricket in 1991. There were many top bowlers playing in that county season like Wasim, Donald, Aaqib etc but just look at Waqar stats to see the difference.

He bowled in 20 innings and got 113 wicket with an average of less thn 15 in that season. He got 13 five wicket hauls and 3 times 10 wickets in that season. If we calculate the strike rate he got these wickets at a strike rate of 30 and he got 5.65 wickets per innings in that season.

Mohsin Khan has expressed his doubts about this strategy but surely, Pakistan cannot make bouncy wickets in UAE and play in the hands of SA 's strength?

Whenever we hear former players, such as Mushtaq Ahmed on TV last night, they suggest that the likes of Inzi and Javed Miandad etc can pass on their skills and therefore make the best coaches.

Is this really true? Is a guy with coaching qualifications, coaching experience etc a better option? Are former players really destined to become good coaches, or is it a completely different discipline altogether?

Sohaib Maqsood, Ahmed Shehzad, Asad Shafiq, Faisal Iqbal and Shaan Masood are batting for 3 positions in the Pakistan "A" match to get into the Pakistan Test squad. Who  should be chosen and why?

The South Africans will land today in UAE ahead of the Test series versus Pakistan, allowing 10 days of preparation ahead of the first Test.

Meanwhile the Pakistan squad is nowhere to be seen, has not been selected. A group of players representing the "A" team have left for the UAE and another set of players will leave for the UAE on 7 October.

We don't help ourselves do we !

I picked these 5 ODI batsmen from 90s because of their averages, strike rates and number of centuries thn i divided it into 4 parts (different date ranges of 90s) to see how they were competing with each other. I started these stats from 1990-1996 because the real competition between them started after 1995.
