Its tough to compare batsmen from different eras, but still I would like to compare Younis Khan with Zaheer Abbas as both batted for Pakistan at one down position during most of their career additionally till date both have played almost similar number of matches. No doubt Zaheer was one of the most all time graceful batsmen and Younis is not very pretty to watch but at the end of the day its performance that counts. I am reducing their performances in tests in attached image. In addition to analysis of their perfomances i have also enclosed ICC ranking graph of their careers. Y.K reached to No. 1 batsman and Z.A could reached to 3rd. Y.K's career rating remained above 750 during most of his career which shows his consistecny whereas Z.B acheived 750 + only during a short period.
In my humble opinion Y.K is very under rated. He is up their with the very best of Pakistan alonwith J.M, MOY & Inzi.

Former Pakistan Test cricketer Azhar Khan turns 58 today. Having only played one Test match for Pakistan, Azhar Khan isn't the most well known name in the cricketing circles. In fact, it is rather unfortunate that he only got the one opportunity to represent Pakistan in his 22-year First Class career.
