In just a few days time, a few associate teams being Scotland and the rising and impressive one Ireland will be competing with the giants Australia and England. But the question is with Cricket being one of the worlds leading sports certainly the best bat and ball game in the world, it still somehow played by only a select few mainly the 10 test playing nations. But why only them? why cannot it expand and add newer full members?
If so then what is the criteria for the leading associates to become a full member nation?
How did Zimbabwe and Bangladesh become full member nations given how still lets be honest pathetic they are?
and despite Ireland doing clearly much better in terms of achieving their main ambition of becoming a test playing nation than the 2 weaker full members, it still not happening for them.
I don't know about you but I want teams like Ireland especially the game coming up to succeed as much as possible because Cricket is getting boring with very few teams and these few teams playing eachother over and over again.
I collected the data for spinners against top 8 ODI sides, Ajmal is second on the list with his bowling average and strike rate.
And if you are interested to see bowling stats of spinners including their performances against minnow teams thn here are those stats...
Discussion of some of the current bowlers that really look to outfox the batsman with variations and subtle tactics rather than flat out pace or aggression.

There are quite a few on this forum, who hype a player/captain as "aggressive",
but in reality he is not aggressive in his cricket, rather in hot talk, media interviews and attitude.
A certain group claim Afridi's captaincy to be "aggressive"
and miles better than "poor" and "pathetic" captaincy of Misbah Ul Haq.
Let's take a look at who in reality has won us more matches
against non-minnows, and who has a better Win/Loss ratio against non-minnows.

It is very clear that "pathetic" and "poor" captaincy of Misbah
is actually better than that of Afridi's.
