His Test average is getting bloated and it is currently at 29.07, plus Misbah has lost faith in him with new ball, hence Juniad isn't given the new ball in ODI's anymore because Misbah feels, it would be a waste of the movement available to him upfront.

Can Misbah and Fawad function together in ODIs?

2015 World Cup is well on its way and I don't see how Pakistan is going to put up a substantial fight since 90% of our success depends on our spinners because all of our pacers barring the injury prone Irfan are mediocre and the spinners will be neutralized in Australia/NZ. 

Wickets in Australia and NZ are quite flat and in a nutshell, teams will look to out-bat each other. 

Will we be able to do that with Fawad and Misbah occupying 30 odd overs game after game?

If the Test matches are won by the bowlers, ODIs are won by the batsmen then the T20s are won by the OPENERS. Stronger the openers, the better the chance your team has of winning a T20.
