I don't know if there are no more quality bowlers in England or he is just in the team because he can hold the bat?

Average of 35+ yes 35+ in T20I and still managed to play 30 matches. Average of 35 in ODI and still managed to play 80+ matches and his Test are stats poor too.

Conceded 51 runs in today T20 match and 36/0 in last T20 match.

Some great bowling from South Africa who looked as strong as ever saw the Proteas restrict Pakistan to a paltry 71. Pakistan, for their part, will need to regroup as they have a high pressure match coming up against a very eager Indian team who will be looking to defeat their arch rivals and are also strong favourites to reclaim the title.

I am not a fan of Shoaib Malik but as number 4/5 spot is open in ODIs , Ideally pakistan should go for the upcoming playes like Haris sohail or the domestic performers like Fawad Alam. But PCB has selected shoaib malik in the t2os and I think he realizes that his performance in t20s can win him back his place in ODIs. His performance has been dismal for 3 and a half years now and many of us have given up hope on him. Can he prove us wrong?

Kiwi spinner Ronnie Hira has seemed to find a place in the national side perhaps replacing Daniel Vetori. He has not impressed so far in international cricket and T20 cricket doesnt also seem to be his forte. Does he belong to International Cricket?

What is your opinion who is the best ever new ball bowler from Pakistan?

The other day Hafeez hit a 62 metre six against New Zealand, which cleared the boundary rope by a couple of metres.

Instead of being delighted by the six, the fact that the shot was 62 metres and had cleared the ropes made me cringe.

Come on ICC, this is a World Cup, not an under 13s tournament. Let's have the boundaries at a decent distance, rather than the ridiculous size of some of the boundaries at the World T20.

Did this new structure do the trick, in creating more interest in associate teams?

Looking at his confidence and performances in all the three formats, he is a world class all-rounder. Much more superior as a player to any of the Bangladeshi players of present or past

Who is the best accumulator in modern cricket in general and for Pakistan in particular. I mean the player whose most of the runs come through rotating strike rather tha hitting boundaries and that too at good SR.

for Pakistan: Fawad Alam/Shoaib Malik

In general: Michael Bevan

Current Playing: Virat Kohli/MS Dhoni (Although both of them hit boundaries as well, but if you count their average and SR excluding boundary balls, that will be good also)

Today after the holi revelry i was chatting with a few friends and i brought up the Razzaq statement comparing Shehzad and Tendulkar. While most were dismissive about it,one of the guys brought up a very good point. He said that there may be rare batsmen who may have as much ability/talent as Tendulkar but how many will put as much harwork as him.To put that much effort in once's batting is may be even rarer than the talent he possesed. So the combination of both made him the unique player he was.

What do PPers think? How much of Tendulkar's effort was down to his outrageous talent and how much to his sheer hardwork.

Pakistan is not good in chasing while India is very good in chasing, so what should Hafeez do if he win the toss on Friday?
