Plenty of debate going on about the draft proposal and what will be the outcome. Will the 'Big 3' gets their wish to run ICC or the 'Other 7' cricket nations stay united to discard their proposal. Who will be the eventual winners? What if the outcome is decided by a cricket match between 'Big 3' vs 'Other 7'? What will be your team and who you think will be the winners?
31 years ago today Majid Khan played his last day of Test match cricket. Factually speaking, the last two days of the Test match were washed out. The match was against India at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore and ended in a draw. Batting first, Pakistan scored 323 in the 1st innings, courtesy of Mudassar Nazar's unbeaten 152. Unfortunately for Majid Khan - his last Test was by no means a memorable one as he was dismissed for a duck by Kapil Dev.
I think this is another possible way to delay the decision if 3/4 boards boycott this meeting than there should be no outcome on 28/29 January and they will get some time to sort the stuff between them before next meeting is called.
Both these men have similar records Jimmy has 340 test wickets at an average of 30 while Siddle has 150 at 28 Jimmy is rated by many as the 2nd Test bowler in the world due to his perceived mastery of seam and swing and being a matchwinner however Siddle is always described as a workhorse s'someone who will run in all day long' but not seen as a particularly skillfull bowler but as an honest trier my question is who do you think is better and who would you have in your team ?
Most teams face difficulties when touring other countries. Sub continental teams struggle in South Africa, Australia, NZ and West Indies. Where as on the other hand the Aussies and English struggle in the sub continent.
Which ODI team has the best overseas record?
Is it South Africa, Australia, India or the others?
